We were kindly sent two toys to review. A "Count with Peppa" toy and a Thomas and friends "Learn with Thomas Alphaphonics" toy. This post is about the Peppa toy. To read my Thomas and friends review, please click here.
As we all know, every little one loves Peppa, so my kids are no different. From the moment the parcel arrived, my kids were already excited to see what was in the box. You should have seen the excitement on their faces when they popped out their Peppa toy. It was epic!
The kids and I sat on the floor around the box as we cut open the toy box. Peppa was nicely packed and locked with some plastic key locks that you could simply just turn to unlock. That was a brilliant way to keep the toy in place inside the box. After we unlocked that, there was a pull note that we had to pull in order for the toy to start working. We did that and we heard Peppa's lovely voice saying "Hello i'm Peppa Pig." It was so cute.
LEARN WITH PEPPA
The toy box contained Peppa, 10 coins and a manual. The toy is suitable for children aged 2 years and over, so it was just perfect for my two kids. With the toy, my kids learn about numbers, counting, colours and shapes with Peppa. Nina loved the toy so much, so she made it hers and Kobi was absolutely fine with it. Nina put the colourful coins in Peppa's purse whilst following Peppa's instructions attentively. She was able to recognise each coin and the numbers associated with them.
PRODUCT FEATURES
I like the fact that the toy has on/off/volume control switch on the back of peppa. This is so handy to have especially when you want to pump the volume of Peppa's music on blast or you want to tone it down or switched off at least. There's also a battery compartment at the back of Peppa. You can choose what mode you'd like to play on Peppa, either the numbers mode or the colour mode. The best thing I love about this toy is that, Peppa automatically powers-down after about 45 seconds without usage. This preserves the battery life of the toy. That's so cool.
Overall, this toy is an amazing addition to your kids toy collection. It works perfectly fine and does what it says it does. It is a fun, interactive and engaging toy any toddler would love. It makes a great christmas gift too, so add it to your shopping list, it's fab.
