There's nothing better than knowing that you are feeding your skin with the right natural and organic nutrients it needs. I have always loved natural skincare and the more organic it is, the better for me. I use shea butter and coconut oil a lot in my home for many reasons because of their unique and beneficial properties. That's why I was really happy to try Rue & Cole's Organic and unrefined head to toe butter.
I recently received an organic and unrefined head to toe butter from Rue and Cole. I heard a lot of good reviews about the brand and I decided to try it out for myself. The product was sent to us in a white box with some pretty stuffings to keep the jar safe and steady in the box. Immediately I opened the package, I read the instructions on the jar and it had a lovely story about the brand and their mission. Rue & Cole's organic and unrefined head to toe butter contains Coconut oil, Shea butter and Avocado oil. Three amazing ingredients that do lots of good to your skin. Before I review the product, let's get to know the brand much better.
RUE & COLE STORY
Created in Yorkshire, in a busy mum of two's kitchen, desperate for a gentle deep moisturiser for her babies, came this wonderfully whipped pot of goodness. Using only the very best organic oils produced this heavenly blended butter perfect for quite frankly - everywhere! Overflowing with natural nutrients it can be used from head to toe from birth for a number of benefits such as, baby massage, tackling eczema and sore patches, a deep moisturiser for dry skin and a barrier cream for those little squidgy bottoms. The great thing about our whipped head to toe butter is that the whole family can use it for a number of different reasons (read our 'important stuff' tab to find out more benefits!) MY THOUGHTS
The natural body butter has a nutty smell - like shea butter smell. I really like the natural scent and the butter has a creamy to oily texture. I used the butter head to toe on my kids and on myself. It was nice and shiny on our skin, leaving our skin well oiled and moisturised.
I use the butter as a massage oil to soothe our skin and to prevent eczema and dry skin. It is such a brilliant product. I love it so much, that I had to purchase 3 more jars of the product. Two lavender butters and one natural butter. Nina keeps telling me each time we use the product, that she loves the smell of the lavender butter.
