Writer's picture: EzinmaEzinma

I love making spaghetti and sauce for my family. It's mostly our lunch or dinner meal and my kids absolutely love spag and sauce. I usually enjoy my spag and sauce with fish or minced meat. This time we decided to try the fish that Organico realfoods and Fish4Ever kindly sent us for review. First of, I must say this is a reliable brand that does what it says on the tin. I was impressed with the fast delivery of our items and the packaging of all the products. All the products sent to us came in fresh. Here's a little background about the company:

Fish4Ever aims to excite people for healthy fish products which are sustainably sourced and created in collaboration with local fisherman from the regions where our fish are from. All additional ingredients in their products are organic and also locally sourced. They collaborate with a website called www.thisfish.info which allows you to track the exact source of your Fish4Ever products, as well as where and by whom with was processed.

Organico Realfoods is a range of certified organic, vegan, Mediterranean staples, such as pastas, olives, condiments and more.

We were kindly sent the following food items:

Roasted Pepper spread and dip, Vegan Pesto, Grilled Peppers, sustainably-fished Skipjack Tuna chunks in Brine, Skipjack Tuna in Organic Coconut Oil, Wild Pacific Red Salmon, Mackerel chunks in a jar, Gluten- free Quick Polenta, Almond Organic Cantuccini, Organico Glaze with organic Balsmic Vinegar of Modena, Asparagus Risotto and Vegan Organic Carnaroli

Now we know all about this amazing company, let's get to know my easy recipe.

4. Dice some onions and fry in the oil for a minute or two

5. Pour the blended tomatoes and pepper mix into the saucepan and allow to cook for a few minutes

6. Add some ground peppers if you like spicy food like me

7. When the tomatoes has cooked for about 30 minutes, add spices like ground ginger and garlic, seasoning cubes, curry, thyme , salt and allow to cook for a few minutes on reduced heat

8. Add the cans of fish into the sauce and stir sparingly, so as not to break the chunks

9. Cook for a few more minutes

10. You can turn off the hub and your meal is ready to be served

We had this sumptuous meal some salad. I added some of the Organico Realfoods Tuna in organic coconut oil into my salad. The salad was made up of salad tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce and grated carrots. The Tuna was so yummy with this salad, my husband kept taking extras.

We snacked on the Almond Organic Cantuccini and they tasted so good. They were nice and crunchy with almond flavour in it.

Overall, it was a quick, easy and delicious meal for us. I really love the Skipjack Tuna in organic coconut oil taste. It gave our sauce a coconut taste that was really different and delicious. I also loved the white tuna chunks in brine. It was really chunky and tasty. Organico grilled pepper also tasted well in the sauce and wasn't hot and spicy. It was just perfect in that sauce. We still have a few more bits from Organico realfoods and Fish4Ever to try, I can't wait to try them all and share my recipes with you all. I will definitely give these two brands a 10 for fresh, certified organic and tasty condiments. You can check out their products and find more yummy recipes on their website here and here. Hope you enjoy this recipe and thanks for reading.
