Bakerdays letterbox cake review

I was kindly gifted a letterbox cake from Bakerdays. I got to know about them via instagram and when they reached out to me for a review I was excited to try them out, because I have never had a letterbox sized cake before. I love the fact that their cake is personalisable for any occasion and they deliver on time.

My cake arrived through my letterbox sometime in October in a box with air bags inside to secure it in place. It was well packaged in a cake tin and a lovely card was added just for me. I was well pleased at the uniqueness and simplicity of their style. Bakerdays allow you to add an image on a round cake, choose a size and choose any flavours such as:

1. Victoria sponge cake

2. Chocolate cake

3. Lemon drizzle

4. Gluten free

5. Dairy free

The lovely Bakerdays team sent me a lovely cake with my logo on it. I chose Victoria sponge cake flavour and it had a delicious icing of butter cream and jam. The cake was so delicious and it was the perfect size for a family of 4. The sponge cake was light and moist, beautifully packaged in a tin and with a lovely little card that said "Just for you" and 'Enjoy."

The cake can stay fresh for upto 14 days and the tin has a lovely way of pulling the cake out of the tin via a little paper push note. The cake smelt yummy and amazing. I stored some left over cake in it's tin, in a cool, dry place and not in the fridge.
